Vancouver police are urgently seeking potential witnesses following the tragic homicide of 57-year-old Victor Charles McIntyre, discovered in medical distress at CRAB Park on the early morning of September 23, 2026. Despite the swift response of first responders, McIntyre was pronounced dead at the scene, marking him as the city's sixth homicide victim of the year.
Surveillance Footage Released!
In a bid to develop leads in this case, authorities have released surveillance footage capturing two individuals who may hold critical information regarding the incident. The first individual is a woman seen wearing a yellow long-sleeved shirt, green pants, and burgundy shoes, spotted walking near Main and East Cordova streets. The second individual, identified as a man, is seen clad in a black jacket over a red-and-blue shirt with white lettering and black pants, walking along Columbia and Keefer streets while carrying a longboard.

According to Const. Megan Lui of the Vancouver Police Department (VPD), investigators believe that these two individuals could provide valuable insights into the ongoing investigation. “If you are this man or woman, or know who they are, we would ask that you contact VPD immediately,” Const. Lui stated. The police are also appealing to anyone who was in and around CRAB Park between 9 p.m. on September 22 and 7 a.m. on September 23 to reach out to the VPD homicide unit at 604-717-2500.
